WP Diamonds is a leading buyer of diamonds, luxury jewelry, watches, bags and sneakers. Launched in 2012, the company was created by industry veterans looking to provide a fast, honest and high-end service for selling luxury pieces.

Is It Really Safe?

Customer concerns over sending precious and often sentimental items are perfectly legitimate. We have considered all the necessary operational issues such as insurance and postal services to ensure a professional secure service.

We use a highly secure and fully insured shipping service. It is incredibly rare that we experience any delays using the service, ensuring your items arrive safely and securely in a timely manner. The service is monitored by MALCA, our carefully chosen logistics provider.

When Will I Get Paid?

We will wire you the money or send a check out the same day. If you choose a wire the money will go straight into your bank account and be available in 24 hours, often same day.

If you attend an appointment you can take cash or a check away with you or opt for a wire transfer. Please note that all sellers with an offer under $400 will receive a check only.

What Diamonds Can I Sell?

We will buy almost all diamonds of 0.5ct or larger. We do not purchase rough diamonds, black diamonds, brown diamonds, cubic zirconia, lab grown diamonds or loose gemstones.

What Bags Can I Sell?

We buy designer bags and luxury bags from brands such as Prada, Louis Vuitton, Goyard, Chanel, Hermès and much more. We do not accept bags that are in poor condition.

What Jewelry Can I Sell?

We buy a wide range of diamond jewelry and designer jewelry, including Tiffany, David Yurman, Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, BVLGARI and much more. We do not buy unbranded gemstone jewelry.

Do You Buy Loose Gemstones?

We do not. We buy loose diamonds and designer brand gemstone jewelry (Tiffany, David Yurman, Cartier etc).

How Much Is My Diamond Or Diamond Jewelry Worth?

This is the most asked question from our customers when selling their diamond jewelry. The value of a diamond is primarily determined by:

• Carat Weight: The weight of the diamond
• Color Grade: A wide ranging scale of colors affect prices
• Clarity Grade: The clearer the diamond the more expensive it is
• Shape: Round diamonds are worth more money than fancy shapes such as Princess or Emerald cuts for example
• Cut Grade: How well your diamond reflects light and sparkles (round diamonds only)

Will You Take The Diamond Out Of My Ring?

To confirm the grade of the diamond, we seldom need to, but ALWAYS ask the permission of our clients to remove the diamond from the ring in special circumstances. We ALWAYS provide you with pricing scenarios prior to removal. All diamonds will be returned to their settings by highly trained jewelers if we need to return your stone.

What If I Don’t Know What Type Of Diamond I Have?

If you have a grading certificate or appraisal or even the original receipt from the jeweler, it may contain some pertinent information. Alternatively, send it or bring it in to us for valuation. Just call us on 646 758 0270 if you are in this situation.
