Important Information To Sell Diamonds In Canada
Loose Stones
Stones should be sent loose to WP Diamonds whenever possible and not set/mounted in jewelry for import duty and tax purposes. We recommend you find a reliable and quality local jeweler who can remove any stones from their settings.
$1,000 Minimum
The minimum second hand value we will accept is $1000. Our customer services team will be able to advise you whether your items reach this threshold.
Certifications
We can only provide an initial valuation on diamonds with a GIA and AGS certificate. If you have AGS or GIA certified diamonds, we can provide you with an initial valuation and provide you with free shipping and insurance.

Brinks – Double Box!
Brinks and our insurers require that all shipments need to be double boxed (e.g. a small FedEx in a medium FedEx box) and preferably a FedEx small box inside of a medium one. We will advise you of all shipping instructions. Call +1 646 758 0270.
Commercial Invoice
We will create a Commercial Invoice (CI) and you should include 3 copies with the shipment again for tax reasons. We also ask you to retain the copy of the receipt that you will receive at the FedEx location and send this to us for our records.
